Open Stage Project is excited to announce that the application for our 2024-2025 ACT 2 Program is now open.
The ACT 2 Program is a FREE year-long, afterschool program for NYC high school girls, including cisgender and transgender girls, and non-binary students interested in learning about behind-the-scenes careers in theater, TV, and film. The program includes monthly skill-building workshops; field trips to professional scenic, costume, and lighting shops; networking with women working in TV, film, and Broadway; and one-on-one mentorship with industry professionals.
High school students in the ACT 2 Program learn about college and career pathways in the entertainment industry. They also gain valuable resources and connections that help them apply to other extracurricular programs and jobs in the entertainment industry. The ACT 2 Program prepares students to participate in our paid, summer fellowship program after they graduate high school, which allows fellows to work alongside industry professionals in the entertainment industry.
Applications for the 2024-2025 program are accepted throughout the summer and are due August 1, 2024.
