Future Careers in Focus: Freshmen Visit Co-op Tech!
Six of our motivated freshmen recently traveled to the Co-op Tech Upper East Side campus for an immersive look at post-secondary career pathways. Having partnered with this program for the past two years, we continue to find it an incredibly resourceful way for students to see hands-on vocational training in action.
Our students explored a wide range of industries, including Culinary, Cosmetology, Barbering, Construction, Automotive, Graphic Design, and Movie Production. A highlight of the trip was a guest presentation by a professional Movie Producer, where our students gained insider knowledge about the film industry. They also had the inspiring opportunity to connect with a former HSFI graduate currently at Co-op Tech. The students explored Co-op Tech as a post-secondary options exploration activity.
