Last year, I knew I had wanted to become a youth leader because I really enjoy helping people and I had also loved making our school feel like a positive, welcoming place. I loved taking on the leadership role and I am proud of how dedicated I am to this role. One of my favorite things that I love about HSFI is about all the chances we get to grow, how much we can get involved, and just be ourselves. Another way I am involved in our schools is through ACC, the Asian Culture Club. As a student of Filipino decent, it is amazing to be able to connect with other AAPI students and share our cultures with each other and the school.

Students in Mr. Ng's Financial Literacy Club are having fun while playing "BeFree for Starters" game to learn about loans and investments.

Students explored fundamental movements like downward facing dog and child's pose, building confidence, feeling calm, and learning balance. Beginner, intermediate, or experienced, everyone is invited to stretch, relax, and have fun. Join us as we breathe and create a joyful yoga community!. :)

Another week, another row of knitting! Join the HSFI Knitting Club!

The Filming Club gathers in full creative mode—choosing genres, exchanging visions, and locking in the direction for a new short film.

On Mondays, Modeling Club is Modeling!

Congratulations to Fashion Industries' own Ms. Charon Sioson on winning the Sloan Award for Excellence in Teaching Science and Mathematics! Each year only seven exceptional teachers are selected in NYC to receive this prestigious award. We are honored to have Ms. Sioson as a part of our science instructional team along with her dedication to facilitating our Asian Culture Club. Ms. Sioson exemplifies the power of science education and community building to inspire lasting change. Tonight she will be honored at the American Museum of Natural History’s Hall of Ocean Life by the selection panel and members of the STEM community.
