A proud Fashion Design graduate, Crismely’s time at HSFI was defined by creativity, passion, and unforgettable experiences. Among her favorite memories were the exhilarating weeks leading up to the school’s iconic Fashion Shows; the buzz of anticipation, the late hours perfecting every detail, and the incredible sense of accomplishment that came from seeing student designs come to life on the runway. For Crismely, those moments captured the very heart of HSFI: talent, collaboration, and community.
Born and raised in the Bronx, Crismely credits Ms. Rochford and Ms. Parisse as two of the teachers who made the greatest impact on her journey. Through their professionalism, kindness, and unwavering support, they taught her lessons that extended far beyond the classroom. Their emphasis on attention to detail, personal growth, and excellence helped shape the confident and compassionate person she is today.
Now, in a true full-circle moment, Crismely has returned to HSFI; this time as a staff member. Drawn back by the sense of belonging she experienced as a student, she is dedicated to creating that same supportive environment for the next generation. Her goal is to encourage students to believe in themselves, embrace their individuality, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
Crismely takes great pride in her Dominican heritage and deeply values the diversity and inclusiveness that define the HSFI community. She believes that every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered, and she strives to embody those values in her work each day.
As she continues to inspire students at HSFI, Crismely is also pursuing a degree in Clinical Psychology with a focus on children at Lehman College. Her academic path reflects her lifelong commitment to helping young people navigate challenges, build resilience, and reach their full potential.
