Last Saturday, a group of our talented students from High School of Fashion Industries had the incredible opportunity to attend a dynamic Footwear Design Education Workshop in Harlem — and what an inspiring experience it was!
From sketching concepts to exploring the creative process behind sneaker and footwear design, students were immersed in a day filled with innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning. The workshop offered a unique glimpse into the many career pathways within the footwear and fashion industries, encouraging students to think boldly about their futures as designers, creators, and industry leaders.
Beyond the design activities, students also had the chance to connect with professionals and mentors who shared valuable insights about branding, storytelling, product development, and the importance of staying authentic in creative spaces. Experiences like these are instrumental in helping young creatives see what is possible when passion meets opportunity.
