Students from HSFI were hosted by Block, the parent group of Cash App, to tour the New York Stock Exchange trading floor. They spoke with the Block CFO/COO Amrita Ahuja and Cash App's Financial Advisor, Linday Bryan- Podvin to engage in conversations about money. The group shared the feelings that they have in relation to money and showed off their knowledge of Economics and Financial Literacy. Students were then guided to the trading floor where students received an up-close view of the data and graphs that stock traders analyze, learned NYSE history from their historian and watched the closing bell, signifying the end of the daily trading session.
