This excursion to the Chinese Kung Fu Wu Su Association brought our club’s recent practice to life, specifically regarding our study of the Chinese Fan. Students attended a specialized lecture on the fan’s historical duality learning how it transitioned from a refined social accessory to a tactical tool of defense. By participating in a traditional class in such a historic setting, our members gained a deeper appreciation for the cultural legacies that continue to thrive within our city.
