The start of Civics Week 2026 began with ninth and tenth grade classes examining the work of the seniors' window displays. The window displays from the senior Visual Presentation CTE program, were their Seal of Civic Readiness project. The project this year explored Women's issues such as the right to choose, pay inequalities and professional opportunities. This project also coincides with Women's History Month. The other grades had to explore and evaluate the messages in the displays. When the students returned to classes there was a robust conversation on how to address these issues and where to take them in the future.
