There’s a special kind of joy that fills the halls when Lola arrives on campus. With her soft curls, gentle eyes, and ever-wagging tail, Lola isn’t just adorable — she’s an important part of our school community.

Lola, our mini-Labradoodle, visits regularly to provide emotional support to students and staff. Whether it’s a stressful week of exams, a busy day of classes, or just a moment when someone needs a little extra comfort, Lola is always ready to help. One pet of her fluffy coat and it’s almost impossible not to smile!

Research shows that time with therapy dogs can lower stress, ease anxiety, and boost overall wellness — and we see those benefits firsthand. When Lola is around, conversations start more easily, laughter spreads, and the atmosphere feels lighter. She creates a calm, welcoming space where everyone can pause, breathe, and recharge.

🐶 Good Dog Events — Hosted by Our Restorative Justice Youth Teams
Each month, our Restorative Justice Youth Teams host a special Good Dog event featuring Lola. These gatherings are designed to strengthen community connection, encourage positive interactions, and promote emotional well-being across campus. Students and staff come together not only to spend time with Lola, but also to build relationships, practice mindfulness, and support one another.

These events have quickly become a favorite tradition — and for good reason! They remind us that small moments of care and connection can make a big difference.

📅 Be sure to keep an eye out for announcements about Lola’s next visit. When you see her, stop by, say hello, and experience the joy for yourself.

We can’t wait to see you at the next Good Dog event — Lola certainly will! 🐾💛
