forensics

Students in our Forensic Science elective classes shifted their focus from the crime scene to the professional world as they explored the diverse career paths available within the field. From the analytical mind of the forensic psychologist to the meticulous boots-on-the-ground work of the lead investigator, students conducted in-depth research into the education, daily responsibilities, and essential skills required for these high-stakes roles.

The project culminated in a series of engaging classroom presentations where students stepped into the roles of various specialists, including toxicologists, digital forensic experts, and medical examiners. By presenting their findings to their peers, students not only sharpened their public speaking skills but also gained a broader perspective on how multidisciplinary teams work together to uncover the truth. Whether interested in the behavioral science of criminal profiling or the technical precision of DNA analysis, our future investigators now have a clearer roadmap for their own professional journeys.
