In a wonderful display of community collaboration, Ms. Scott, the RAPP Coordinator, joined.

Ms. Moreira, the Admissions Coordinator for the High School of Fashion Industries (HSFI), was at the recent High School Fair held at M50 in Brooklyn. The event brought together students, parents, and educators to explore the unique intersection of specialized education and vital social support programs.

Throughout the fair, current students from the Relationship Abuse Prevention Program (RAPP) engaged with the community, sharing how the initiative has shaped their high school experience. Their presence made a significant impact on visiting 8th graders, who expressed a keen interest in both the HSFI creative community and the "safety net" of support programs like RAPP that foster positive development and academic success.

"This collaboration was truly a beautiful combination," the organizers noted."Seeing young students connect with programs that support their personal growth and aspirations is inspiring. We are deeply grateful to Ms. Scott and the RAPP team for their dedication and for joining us at this impactful event."

The joint presence of RAPP and HSFI demonstrated a shared commitment to nurturing the "whole student"—providing the resources necessary for success both inside and outside the classroom. The event not only highlighted the importance of school-based partnerships but also ignited a spark in prospective students to become active, positive members of the HSFI community.

As the school year progresses, leadership looks forward to this partnership continuing to grow, ensuring that as students transition into high school, they do so with a strong sense of belonging and a robust system of support.
