Just in time for the holiday season, the Restorative Justice Youth Leaders of the Glamour Gals Chapter paid a special visit to the Project FIND–Woodstock Older Adult Center, spreading joy, connection, and a little extra sparkle. The visit focused on creating meaningful moments and celebrating the importance of intergenerational community.
During the visit, Youth Leaders treated the ladies at the center to mini manicures, helping everyone feel pampered and holiday-ready. In addition to the manicures, the students gifted handmade bracelets and coin bags as keepsakes—each one thoughtfully prepared to add a personal touch to the day.
Beyond the activities, the heart of the visit was found in the conversations shared. Youth Leaders and community members exchanged stories, laughter, and reflections, reinforcing the power of genuine connection. These moments highlighted how small acts of kindness can have a big impact, creating smiles and fostering a sense of belonging for everyone involved.
The visit served as a reminder that community engagement and compassion are at the core of restorative justice work. By showing up, listening, and giving back, the Youth Leaders demonstrated how meaningful relationships can be built across generations—especially during the holiday season.
The Restorative Justice Youth Leaders look forward to continuing their partnership with Project FIND–Woodstock and creating more opportunities to connect, uplift, and give back to the community in the months ahead.
