As Marking Period 3 comes to a close, the 10th Grade Wellness Team is taking a moment to check in with students—and to offer an important reminder: success in school goes beyond grades alone. It’s also about the habits you’re building right now that will carry you into the future.
Consistent attendance, completing assignments, and asking for help when needed may seem like small steps, but together they create a strong foundation for long-term growth. These daily choices help develop responsibility, resilience, and confidence—skills that matter well beyond the classroom.
“Showing up and staying engaged makes a difference,” shared Ms. Cabrera, 10th Grade Attendance Teacher. “When students take ownership of their learning and reach out for support, they’re opening doors for future opportunities.”
With the end of the marking period in sight, students are encouraged to stay focused, remain committed, and give their best effort through the finish line. Whether it’s catching up on assignments, preparing for assessments, or simply staying organized, every step counts.
The Wellness Team is also reminding students that support is always available. Anyone with questions, concerns, or who may need extra help is welcome to stop by Room 643 for guidance and assistance.
As the final weeks of the marking period unfold, the message is clear:
Stay focused. Stay committed. Finish strong. You’ve got this. 💪
