Our HSFI & CBO Social Workers, in collaboration with the Restorative Justice Youth Team, hosted a fun and meaningful day focused on student wellness, creativity, and self-care. This event gave students a chance to slow down, express themselves, and learn healthy ways to care for their minds and bodies—just in time for the Winter Break.

Throughout the day, students rotated through engaging, hands-on activities designed to promote relaxation, positivity, and connection. The energy was joyful, creative, and full of smiles!
💖 Students Participated In:
Making their own lip balm 💄 to take home and enjoy
Creating holiday decorations 🎄 to spread seasonal cheer
Designing and building gingerbread houses for a sweet creative challenge
Crafting bracelets as a symbol of self-expression and connection
Assembling positive mantra jars 🫙 filled with affirmations and encouragement

To support continued wellness beyond the school day, each student also received a Self-Care Bingo card ⛄️ to use during Winter Break—encouraging healthy habits, mindfulness, and moments of rest.

This event was a wonderful reminder of the importance of prioritizing mental health, building community, and empowering students with tools they can use every day. 💙
