On Friday 12/12, students from Ms. Gerasimovich's Global History class spent the afternoon at the Metropolitan Museum of Art viewing ancient Greek and Roman art. Led by a guide, students enjoyed a customized tour of the Met's collection of scultpures to learn more about what art can show us about history and life back in ancient times.
This was a fun and immersive way to end our unit on Classical Civilizations. The tour guides were impressed by our students' knowledge of history, mythology, and our students were able to enjoy exploring the ancient works of art!
