Big news from the Be an Effective Communicator Group 1 Team!
In our meeting, we bonded with Icebreakers, brainstormed ways to improve our school community, and focused heavily on the Success Skill, Be an Effective Communicator. Led by Kashmere Sanders, we are creating ways for upperclassmen (11th and 12th graders) to connect with underclassmen (9th and 10th graders).
We have proposed a student mentorship that is currently in the works. Also, mark your calendars for our HSFI Student Mixer coming this March 2026—details coming soon!
We look forward to continuing this work around improving our school community through being effective communicators!
