Hi, we are one of HSFI improvement teams dedicated to Being a Constructive Problem Solver for the Community!
We are a group of students and teachers that have come together to create solutions to issues in our school’s community. In our first meeting, we met our full team, and discussed some things that we have seen or heard in the HSFI community. This was more of a “setting up meeting” to plan things out, understand our success skill, and community build. We all came to an agreement to focus on the issue surrounding student-to-student and student-to-teacher connections at HSFI. Our reasons as to why we chose to focus on this are the following:
It’s important to find ways to help resolve student conflicts that have spread to social media and implement an action plan around this.
Because students give our teachers bad representation, we want to help build a connection between teachers and students in their classes.
We look forward to continuing this work and seeing the impact that we have on HSFI’s community!
