For the second marking period the students utilizing the tenth floor gymnasium voted to learn pickleball as their second sport of the year. Mr. Khoury, Ms. Greene, Mr. Alhaidami and Mr. Lubrano will be sharing their knowledge and passion for the sport. Today the students were learning paddle control, grips and how to volley.
Pickleball is a sport that has recently taken over courts all over the city. The popularity of the sport has increase over the years which is why the students wanted to learn the sport. The students are excited to get into competition, but they have to learn the basic skills first.
