The High School of Fashion Industries is thrilled to announce a new partnership with Bang Cookies to raise funds for the school’s Business major. This collaboration aims to support senior business students as they prepare to participate in the Spring Virtual Enterprises International Trade Show at the Javits Center. The annual event offers students the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial skills, network with industry leaders, and compete on a global stage representing the school and their innovative business ideas.

To kick off the partnership, senior Business students had the unique opportunity to sit in on a master class with Bang Cookies’ co-founders, George Kuan and Mike Smilo, who shared insights on business growth, brand development, and the power of purpose-driven entrepreneurship. The session inspired students to think creatively about how they can apply these lessons in their own ventures and upcoming trade show presentations.

Over the next two weeks, both Visual Merchandising and Business students will take on the roles of real-world marketers and sales representatives by selling Bang Cookies products to friends and family through personalized online links. The initiative combines classroom learning with hands-on experience, allowing students to apply their skills in sales, marketing, and digital promotion while working toward a collective fundraising goal of $5,000.

The proceeds will directly contribute to covering the costs of student participation at the trade show, including travel, materials, and presentation expenses. This fundraiser not only helps students gain valuable professional experience but also fosters teamwork, creativity, and community engagement.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to Ms. Vaccaro for organizing this incredible collaboration, and to our dedicated Visual Merchandising and Business teachers: Ms. Keel, Ms. Damian, Mr. Jimenez, and Mr. Paquet for their continued guidance and support in bringing this project to life.

By supporting this initiative, cookie buyers are investing in the future of young entrepreneurs who are eager to make their mark in the business and fashion industries. Each purchase brings the High School of Fashion Industries closer to its goal of empowering students to pursue their ambitions with confidence, skill, and real-world experience.
