The High School of Fashion Industries’ Class of 2029 is making history! This dynamic freshman class has proven to be a force to be reckoned with, setting an incredible standard for commitment and consistency. During Marking Period 1, an impressive 321 ninth-grade students achieved a 90% to 100% attendance rate — a record-breaking milestone for HSFI!
Their outstanding dedication to showing up, staying engaged, and making the most of every school day demonstrates the energy and enthusiasm this class brings to our community. The Class of 2029 is setting the tone for what it means to be a part of HSFI — resilient, motivated, and ready to succeed.
In recognition of this achievement, the Class of 2029 Wellness Team has proudly showcased the names of these stellar students on the 5th Floor Attendance Wall, a visual celebration of excellence and consistency. As an added reward, each student received $200 in Fashion Dollars — a well-deserved bonus they can use to participate in school events, purchase spirit wear, or invest in other exciting student opportunities.
This recognition program highlights HSFI’s ongoing commitment to encouraging positive attendance habits and celebrating students who prioritize their education. “Attendance is one of the most important indicators of student success,” said Ms. Ameh, 9th Grade Attendance Teacher. “We’re thrilled to see our freshmen taking that message to heart and leading by example.”
