Now that the first marking period has wrapped up (report cards went home with students today!), it's the perfect time to hit the reset button and start fresh. The second marking period runs until December 1st—and we want to help your student make it their best one yet.
Here's the thing: when parents log into Jupiter regularly, students do better. It's that simple. By checking in once or twice a week, you'll catch small issues before they become big ones, stay in the loop on what's happening in each class, and be able to have meaningful conversations with your child about their progress.
What to look for when you log in:
Attendance: Is your student making it to every class? Period-by-period attendance can reveal patterns you might not see otherwise.
Missing assignments: These add up quickly! A weekly check helps you spot gaps and encourage your child to stay on top of their work.
Teacher messages: Your student's teachers may be reaching out with important updates, concerns, or kudos—don't miss them!
Take action this week: Log in and see what assignments are coming up in the next seven days. Even better, set up Jupiter's weekly summary email so assignment updates come straight to your inbox. It takes two minutes and makes staying informed effortless.
