The students in Ms. Lissauer's Global class came up with a creative way to introduce the Philosophers from world history, they made them into puppets. The assignment was:
Take a paper bag, and make a puppet of the philosopher you chose.
The body must include an outfit with symbols that represent what they believed in
On the back, write a paragraph explaining the symbols you put on the front. Add connections to things you know about government, or things we learned about in class.
Once done the students shared their philosopher's views by having conversations with each other.
