Riverside Church- Career Day Scholarship
The Riverside Church Career Day committee for the first time is issuing a Career Day Scholarship. We encourage high school students (10th-12th grade) to complete a scholarship application.
The following scholarships will be presented at Career Day on Saturday, March 14, 2020: Each Scholarship is for $500.

The Career Day Scholarship Award $500 Scholarship The purpose of Career Day is to present various careers and professional opportunities to a diverse group of young people. Presenters at Career Day offer guidance and support, as they share their career paths and experiences with youth participants. This Award is in honor of the presenters, workshop leaders and committee members who invest in and inspire our youth and are committed to their success.
The Pamela Palanque North Scholarship Award $500 Scholarship This award is a testament to Pamela Palanque North, who was a devoted member of The Riverside Church and served as the Chair of the Education Commission. Honoring her passion and commitment for education. She championed educational achievement and was a positive force. Mrs. North’s legacy will live on through this award by providing support to the youth.
The Riverside Business and Professional Women’s Club Scholarship Award $500 Scholarship This award is a continuation of promoting cultural and educational channel for the youth. The Riverside Business and Professional Women’s Club have shaped the purpose and implementation of Career Day. The visionaries of the Riverside Business and Professional Women’s Club, testimony to encourage youth throughout the city to be confident and steadfast and making their dreams reality.
2020 Eligibility Requirements Scholarship Award
Applicant must be a current high school sophomore, junior, or senior who attends a public, independent, charter, or alternative school in one of the five New York City boroughs.
Applicant must intend to attend college, university, a vocational program, serve in the armed services or serve as a first responder after graduating from high school.
Applicants must be present at Career Day, March 14, 2020 to receive the award. If you are not present, you forfeit the scholarship award.
