Gold beaded sweatshirts, chiffon t-shirts, a back-buttoning coat, stunning, skin-fit suits and jackets, and more has kept Duckie Brown widely praised for its innovation and wit. Founded in 2001 by Steven Cox and Daniel Silver, Duckie Brown is a New York City based menswear designer collection. With a fan following that includes the New York Times, GQ, Barneys New York and the industry’s premier stylists. As one of the few NYC-based menswear labels winning international attention, Duckie Brown is stocked in stores across the world from New York (Barneys NY and Odin) to Los Angeles, London and Tokyo.

Duckie Brown received their first kudos in 2006 with a nomination for the CFDA Perry Ellis New Menswear Award. This was followed in 2007 with a nomination for the CFDA Menswear Designer of the Year, alongside famous favorites Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Also in 2007, Duckie Brown was one of the designers featured at London at the Victoria & Albert Museum show, New York Fashion Now, a retrospective of up and coming American designers. After the show closed, Duckie Brown was honored by the Victoria & Albert Museum when one of their outfits become part of the V& A’s permanent collection.

Duckie Brown went on in 2008 to partner with Florsheim Shoes, creating Florsheim by Duckie Brown, a collection of classic fashionable shoes. For five years the shoes were available at stores including Barneys NY, Saks, Bloomindales, Nordstrom’s, Harrods’s and many other stores across America, Europe and Japan.

In 2013, Duckie Brown was fortunate to again be honored with a CFDA nomination for Best Menswear Designer of the Year Award.

Duckie Brown has also had the great fortune to collaborate on a designer level collection with Perry Ellis, which in turn enabled Perry Ellis to become part of the fashion conversation once again. The collaboration lasted for two seasons and received outstanding reviews from the press around the world. In addition, from 2013 – 2015, Duckie Brown were the Creative Directors of Rogatis, a menswear suit brand from Korea owned by Samsung.

Since February 2018 Duckie Brown has been selling their collection for people at Duckie Brown The Shop, by appointment only – a shop within their studio. The Shop is constantly full of new items every month. Along with their designs The Duckies also feature young new fine artists with their own show on a monthly basis – creating even more excitement for everyone that visits.
