BridgeUP: STEM Brown Scholars Program

A tuition-free, 2+ year program at the American Museum of Natural History

Are you a girl* in 9th or 10th grade? Are you looking for something

challenging and fun to do after school?

Then the Brown Scholars program is for you!

The Brown Scholars program is an introduction to programming and is

intended for students who have had limited access to coding classes or

resources. We hope you will begin your coding journey with us!

This program is a unique opportunity to learn about exciting scientific fields

such as astronomy, molecular genetics and earth sciences. Brown Scholars

learn about coding and science while working on innovative projects and

exploring the Museum.

This experience will help you develop your collaboration and presentation

skills and become more confident. You may even discover a new passion!

When does it take place?

Summer: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm, July - August 2020 or

School Year: Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:30pm, late September 2020 -
