BridgeUP: STEM Brown Scholars Program

A tuition-free, 2+ year program at the American Museum of Natural History
Are you a girl* in 9th or 10th grade? Are you looking for something
challenging and fun to do after school?
Then the Brown Scholars program is for you!
The Brown Scholars program is an introduction to programming and is
intended for students who have had limited access to coding classes or
resources. We hope you will begin your coding journey with us!
This program is a unique opportunity to learn about exciting scientific fields
such as astronomy, molecular genetics and earth sciences. Brown Scholars
learn about coding and science while working on innovative projects and
exploring the Museum.
This experience will help you develop your collaboration and presentation
skills and become more confident. You may even discover a new passion!
When does it take place?
Summer: Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 4:00pm, July - August 2020 or
School Year: Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:30 - 6:30pm, late September 2020 -
June 2021.
