Fashion Design is one of our oldest majors here at HSFI.  In this major students will learn the skills to take their vision from concept to product.  These skills include fashion illustration, patternmaking, draping, sewing, fabric dyeing and textile printing.  Students graduate with certification in NOCTI (Industry level assessment), a professional level portfolio, work/internship experience and an opportunity to showcase their final senior thesis garment in the Industry Fashion Show in the Meatpacking District (Gansevoort Plaza).
