Gay Straight Alliance
A student-led or community -based organization that is intended to provide a safe and supportive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) children, teenagers, and youth.

Photo Club
This club teaches the introductory techniques of black-and-white photography. Students learn to make exposures with a 35mm camera, process film, and create prints in the darkroom. The curriculum includes: darkroom time, visual presentations, blog posts, discussions about social media, photographic and writing assignments, discussions, critiques, a field trip, and guest artist visit.

Sewing Club
Spark Your Creativity in this sewing club for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students.

Emotions Matter Club
Emotions help us to take action, to survive, strike and avoid danger, to make decisions, to understand others. Moreover, they help other people to understand us. Together we come up with ways to support the students and staff through Social and Emotional Learning activities.

Watch varies sports games, make new friends and have discussions about your favorite players!

Track Club
We take your running skills to the next level! We will be doing work outs to condition our bodies for the upcoming fall cross country track season.

Feminist Club
The Feminist club is a supportive space to challenge sexism in all the ways it overlaps with differences like race, class, ethnicity, religion, gender expression and sexual orientation.

Boys Soccer Club
Calling all soccer fans! In our soccer club we discuss who our favorite players are, and watch old and new games together!

Beginners Vogue
Offering a club to explore the expression of personal style. Building mood boards, styling looks and shooting outfit combinations, digital content presentation and zines.

Animal Welfare
Throughout the year we run pet drives, when we collect supplies to deliver to the shelters, dog washes to raise money for shelters, adoption events with NYC Animal Care & Control, and many more activities. Our main purpose is to work with the community to help make many of these animals in unfortunate living situations live a healthy and more comfortable.

Math Club
Math Club at High School of Fashion Industries is a student-run organization that promotes math as a fun and challenging subject that every student should enjoy. Unlike the traditional math club that focuses on solving math competition problems, our club provides a variety of hands-on projects so that students can apply mathematics reasoning in real world problem solving as well as in art designing.

Rif Raf Book Club
Do you like to read and discuss Young Adult books? Then come to the RIF RAF book club. Newcomers are always welcome.

Anti Prom Fashion Show
Anti-Prom provides an alternative, safe space for all teens who may not feel welcome at official school programs or dances because of their sexual orientation, the way they dress, or any other reason. HSFI welcomes students to design and create prom dresses and model the garments in the New York Public Library.

Gardening Club
Connecting you with people and plants we teach you the love of gardening, and our environmental responsibilities as a community.

Movie Club
Designed to give students an opportunity to view and study film our club brings students together to watch films and have thoughtful discussions afterwards.

Crochet Club
Students will learn and work on perfecting their skills on the craft of crocheting by creating some agreed upon accessories.

Anime Club
We enjoy Japanese culture (food, film, literature, graphic novels, animation) and "cosplay" the art of dressing up as your favorite characters. The purpose of the club is to gather students with common interests in art and animation with particular interest in Japanese language and culture.

Fashion With A Purpose
FWAP is a club that practice a research base approach to designing. Our goal is to utilize sustainable concepts onto original designs, raise health awareness and social consciousness through fashion. All members also serve as Alumni Ambassadors as they assist in organizing events and fundraisers to support the Alumni College Scholarship.

Learn to Play Dungeons and Dragons
We will play an adventure for 5-7 players who either have played Dungeons & Dragons before or want to learn. You will need dice but if they are not available we can try some online systems to roll. If not The Dungeon Master (Mr. Rau) will roll for you. All the books needed are free and downloadable, along with charter creation sheets. SO if you want to play an Elven wizard or a Dwarven Barbarian this is the time to learn. First meeting will be rolling up characters.

Our club is made to help students who would like to enhance their portfolios for college.

Kpop Club
For people who are unfamiliar with Kpop, it stands for Korean pop culture. Club members will explore the dances and songs as well as the Korean language itself.

Green Team
THE GREEN TEAM is an interactive educational program that empowers students and teachers to help the environment through waste reduction, recycling, composting, energy conservation and pollution prevention.

Threads of Color
Culture Club
The purpose of the Culture Club is to provide students with the opportunity to expand their knowledge of different cultures. Sharing new experiences, building confidence and making friends. Students can dress up in their culture's attire, food from each culture is brought, music and other customs are represented

Introduction to Watercolor Painting
Watercolors can produce painting effects which no other medium can match. All are welcome in this beginners club.

World Cuisine Club
Discover the world through food. We raise awareness of diversity through cuisine from around the world.

Iconoclan Dance Team
Iconoclan, HSFI's Dance Team, is a Hip-Hop/Reggae Dance team that exists to develop its members into creative leaders. As part of the HSFI performance community, we participate in various sporting events, student organized activities and competitions. We hope to represent the best of the HSFI student body.

Community Service (Fashion Cares)
Fashion Cares is a club dedicated to volunteering and community service. Each year students participate in a variety of activities which help our community both inside and outside of HSFI.

Plant Based Eating Club
People choose a plant-based diet for a variety of reasons including concern about the treatment of animals, health reasons, environmental concerns or because of taste and social pressure.

Creative Writing/Student Publications
We collect work by our writers as well as other creative minds for the school’s literary magazine, The Hanger, which is published at the end of the academic year. What we need: We are looking for FUN, DEDICATED, CREATIVE people to join our team!
